Barrel Roll! #56 – “The Mega Man Tenisode”
On a very special fifty-sixth episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, Jesse and Adam hijack the show to talk about Mega Man 10. I don’t know what it is, but those two really like that little blue robot.
I was all like, “What about Heavy Rain?” And Adam was all, “More like watching a movie with quick time events. Burn!”
Then I cried a single tear.
Barrel Roll! #55 – “Boshi’s Sandwich”
*UPDATE* - Turns out the audio file had a glitch in it where the last twenty minutes were doubled and off time from each other making it a horrible mess. We at WingDamage would like to apologize to anyone who listened to this episode and promise that the next episode, which will release on Tuesday, is much, much better in both quality and content.
On a very special fifty-fifth episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, we have to match up all the different sandwiches if we want to stop the flow of incoming sandwiches. Boshi is there to help. Remember Boshi?
Our regular hosts are joined by Geoffio, as well as WingDamage’s newest writer, Anthony. In what we’ve been playing, Geoffio kicks us off with tales from the aerial combat sim, Wings of Prey. Jonah has just started on The Force Unleashed: Ultimate Sith Edition and Company of Heroes, an RTS he’s actually enjoying. Anthony gives us his thoughts on Resident Evil 5 and Jesse goes in-depth with the new Valkyria Chronicles DLC.
Barrel Roll! #54 – “Asteroids Porn”
On a very special fifty-fourth episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, we discuss the hot topic that has been on everyone’s mind: Asteroids Porn FanFic. Boners may have also been mentioned. Even still, it manages to be a PG affair, so no worries there my friends.
More importantly, we discuss video games and the ones we have been playing. Wes has finally discovered the joy of Zack & Wiki, which was a nice pick-me-up after accidentally deleted his save file on Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Returning guest host, Adam “Heat Man” Anania, finished Ace Attorney Investigation: Miles Edgeworth and tells us all about the changes from the regular series.
Barrel Roll! #53 – “Ukulele Party”
On a very special fifty-third episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, we gather around the campfire while being serenaded by our own Wesley “Ukulele Master” Johnson.
This week, there are a lot of things discussed when talking about what we’ve been playing. Of note is Jesse’s completion of No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle on the Wii, Wes’s acquisition of a Wii and his playing of various Zelda related titles as well as Muramasa, and Jonah’s noticeable lack of Wii playing.
Barrel Roll! #52 – “Let’s Kill Mega Man!”
On a very special fifty-second episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, we are joined once again by The Mega Man Network’s own Adam “Heat Man” Anania. He throws down with some old school flavor on Zelda II: The Adventures of Link and Little Samson for the NES.
Wes returns with more tales of the iPhone and the adventure games he has been playing there; namely Broken Sword: Director’s Cut. Jesse finished Dark Void and Assassin’s Creed II, and also started on the anime/dog fighter, The Sky Crawlers: Innocent Aces. More importantly to #1 Super Fan, Russ Walsh, he has imported and tells us all about Game Center CX: Arino no Chousenjou 2 (aka Retro Game Challenge 2, if it ever came out in the states).
Barrel Roll! #51 – “Dude, Where’s My Pizza Cats?”
On a very special fifty-first episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, we are joined by Rebel FM podcaster extraordinaire, Tyler Barber. He tells us all about his history as a gamer and how he got started podcasting about games.
In what we’ve been playing, there is discussion of Mass Effect 2, in which any spoilers are very carefully avoided. We also talk about the adorable indie game, Toki Tori, Wes’s completion of The Saboteur, the surprisingly good Tatsunoko VS Capcom (which has a disturbing lack of pizza related cats), the sadly disappointing Dark Void, and DS JRPG WTFBBQ Sands of Destruction. Wes also tells tales of more junk for the iPhone.
Barrel Roll! #50 – “Adventuring Is Around An Corner!!!”
On a very special fiftieth episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, we are joined by two amazing guests.
Returning for the second time is “Number One Super-Fan”, Russ Walsh, to tell us all about Cave Story, probably. We also have the first appearance of Adam “Heat Man” Anania from The Mega Man Network. He is here to tell us all about the site, CES, and Mega Man 10.
Barrel Roll! #49 – “The French Prince of Bel Air”
In West Grenoble, born and raised, on a podcast is where he spent most of his days. Chillin out, maxing relaxing all cool and all shooting some b-ball outside of the 1968 Olympic Winter Games… OK, I think I broke that one. Plus, the show was like, twenty years ago.
On a very special forty-ninth episode of our humble podcast, Barrel Roll, we are joined by The Xbox Domain’s PR rep, Holly Attesi. She gives us the low-down on the site and what they do at their community focused site. She also tells us about what she has been playing lately, which is mostly Forza 3.
Barrel Roll! #48 – “Games Of The Year 2009″
On a very special forty-eight episode of “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast”, Jesse, Dave and Jonah discuss their top ten picks for game of the year.
It was a good discussion of our likes and dislikes and why we picked what we picked. We even give out a few honorable mentions that didn’t quite make the list at the end of the show.
I don’t want to give it away here, so hit up after the break to download the episode and hear for yourself.
Barrel Roll! #47 – “Wesley Johnson and the Fate of the Legend of the Crystal Gums”
When our heroes aren’t busy uncovering the fate of lost legends or fighting evil Nazis that are trying to use supernatural powers to take over the universe, they do this podcast. What podcast you ask? Why “Barrel Roll! A Video Game Podcast” my good sirs and madams!
