It was really a fun multiplayer experience. And like Justin, I was a completionist too. I took over the other characters to make sure they all had their weapons and magic up. I don't remember using any guides or cheats, but having save states using an emulator was fantastic. And yes, that *THWACK* sound IS one of the greatest sounds in gaming. Never really got into the co-op (never owned a SNES), but I’ve always LOVED Secret of Mana. And like Justin, I was a completionist too.
