I think a more interesting phenomenon are age old spoilers that you manage to entirely avoid for decades and still enjoy the film/game as intended. Best example that comes to mind right now is the infamous scene from Alien - I only watched it for the first time last week and had no idea what was about to happen, my face was apparently a picture. Phew, managed to read the whole thing without getting any games or films ruined for me, don’t scare me like that boys!

I think a more interesting phenomenon are age old spoilers that you manage to entirely avoid for decades and still enjoy the film/game as intended.

Best example that comes to mind right now is the infamous scene from Alien – I only watched it for the first time last week and had no idea what was about to happen, my face was apparently a picture.

I do remember when the knewest bat man had come out I was so happy and couldn't wait to watch it but I had a friend walk into my conversation with a few friends who also wanted to see it and he VIOLATED my ears, I am not kidding, he started ranting on the movie and this and that while I tried to ignore him and plugged my ears but he kept talking.
